Our Policies
At SoCalMercedesParts.com, we're dedicated to customer satisfaction. We do everything in our power to make sure you get the right part for your Mercedes-Benz as fast as possible and at the best price. We also want to ensure you that the part will work, and be in great shape. We don't send out worn parts, and that's why we warranty all the parts we sell whether it's new or used. All our used parts carry a 6-month guarantee. See below for details.
Payment:- Money Order or Certified Bank Check
- SoCal Mercedes Parts charges a 9.250% sales tax to customers located in California. Tax is applied only to the items purchased and not to the shipping price.
- We ship items through UPS, unless otherwise specified.
- Larger tiems are shipped via our preferred freight company.
If you are in the Southern California area and prefer to pick up your parts to avoid shipping costs please let us know.
- All sales final.
- 6 month warranty on in stock used parts unless otherwise stated on the receipt.
- All new parts are covered by the manufacturer warranty.
- All sheet metal, glass, and body parts are sold as is.
- If a part proves defective, So Cal Mercedes Parts, at its discretion, will either provide a replacement or a refund.
- All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
- No returns on electrical parts. Exchange ONLY.
- No returns without Return Merchandise Authorization Number.
- Warranty will be void if parts are not returned in the same condition they are sold. So Cal Mercedes Parts is not responsible for any parts that have been altered, modified, disassembled, or damaged by misuse or accident subsequent to purchase.
- Overheating voids all warranties.
- No parts exchanged or returned without receipt.
- No warranty or reimbursement on labor under any circumstances.
- So Cal Mercedes Parts is not responsible for, or liable for any incidental or consequential loss or damage.
- So Cal Mercedes Parts is not responsible for buyerÕs error.
- So Cal Mercedes Parts is not responsible for delays in UPS or freight shipments.
- All deposits are non Ðrefundable.
- Shipping in non-refundable.
- A $25 fee will be added to all returned checks.
- No Cash Refunds.
- Used engines are guaranteed not to have a cracked block, head, or bad crankshaft. All parts external to the block and cylinder head (i.e. distributor, injection pump, manifold) are not warranted. These are left on for the installerÕs convenience.
- All conditions of terms of sale (above) apply.
- Used engines are guaranteed against rod knock, excessive smoking, and excessive oil consumption.
- Engine must be installed on the correct application or warranty is void.
- So Cal Mercedes Parts recommends replacing timing belt/chain, main seal, and inspecting all gaskets prior to installation.
- All parts on the engine at the time of sale must be returned with the core engine to receive a core refund.
- Improper installation, detent adjustment, low fluid level, failure to install new filter (automatic transmission only), or broken front pump voids warranty.
- So Cal Mercedes Parts recommends replacing the front seal and flush the radiator and oil cooler prior to installation.
- All conditions listed under terms of sale (above) apply.
- All special orders are covered by a 90 day warranty.
- All special orders are non-refundable.
- A minimum deposit of 25% is required for all special orders.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- So Cal Mercedes Parts is not responsible for delays in UPS or freight shipments.
- If you have a return, defective part, or core please fill out a Return Merchandise Request Form. If you do not have your invoice number, please indicate when your parts were purchased and your full name. You will then be emailed a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) in 3-4 business days.
- When you receive your RMA#, package the part securely and write your RMA# clearly on the outside of the box. Parts without a RMA# will not be accepted!
- Once we have received your return, conducted an inspection of the part, and verified that the return meets the above guidelines, a full refund will be issued. All applicable sales tax will be refunded. The cost of shipping will be credited only in those instances that the return is a result of our error.
- Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
If you would like to return an item associated with a core return value, please submit your request through our Return Request Form. Please note:
- All fluids must be drained from the core
- The core must be securely wrapped in plastic and sealed
- Cores must be returned in the packaging used in the shipment of the order sent to you
- Your core will be inspected to determine if the it is able to be rebuilt
- Core return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. These are not refundable.
